Who doesn't love a good dance party for a good cause? This past weekend some of the CARE for AIDS ambassadors threw a special event to raise money for their center in Nairobi. The 2nd annual RE/PROM was held at The Foundry at Puritan Mill and was quite the night of dancing for over 300 people!
A group of friends from Cobb County pulled together a night of fun all to raise funds for the center they support in a community called Kariobangi. Everything from Billy Boughey djing the night to Krispy Kreme donuts being served on the dance floor was beautifully executed. This team went above and beyond to create an adult prom like no other. Final totals are still being tallied from the night, but it was definitely a success! We love seeing friends joining together to support orphan prevention and bring awareness of our work into new circles. If you missed it, you will want to mark your calendars now for the Valentine’s event for 2017.
