Welcome to our support site and thank you for your interest in our ministry with CARE for AIDS. Your prayers and financial gifts are greatly appreciated and necessary for us to begin our work in Kenya. We are humbled by any amount that you are willing to give and are grateful to have you as a part of our team.
Make a gift
We are so excited to begin our journey working with CARE for AIDS this fall. As we finish our school, work and ministry in Greenville, SC, we are simultaneously building a team to support us as we seek to be a part of what God is doing in Kenya. We would love to have you partner with us!
This September we’ll be moving to Kenya to join the CARE for AIDS staff as they seek to minister, both physically and spiritually, to families affected by HIV/AIDS. The proclamation of the gospel and everyone’s need for Jesus is central to the mission of CARE for AIDS. We love that this is accomplished through partnering with and empowering local churches to serve those in their areas of influence. Through the local church, CARE for AIDS is spreading the gospel, while also equipping men and women to be able to make money, buy food, and understand proper medication. With the goal of seeing men and women live 25+ years while being HIV+, CARE for AIDS is approaching the orphan crisis from a different angle so that parents can raise and educate their children and even see their grandchildren.
Before we move, CARE for AIDS has given us a goal of raising $40,000 per year to support our family while we’re living in Kenya. If we break this down a little bit, it means we need to raise around $3,500 per month. To reach our goal, we need 14 people to join our team and commit to giving $100 per month; 24 people to join our team and commit to giving $50 per month; and 30 people to join our team and commit to giving $30 per month for the next two years. Would you be willing to be one of those people?
We’d be honored to have you join us in taking the Gospel to the nations and we are so grateful for your commitment of any amount! We also would greatly covet your prayers, both as we prepare and once we’ve moved. Prayer is vital as we ask the Holy Spirit to go before us and move in ways only He can do. In Acts 1:8, Jesus’ last words instruct us all to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. Whether you are called to go, give and/or pray, we all have a part to play in spreading the Kingdom of God; it really does take a team to make this happen!
