Our Kenyan Directors’ Trip ended with a bang at our 2nd annual gala dinner themed REWRITTEN: Lives, Stories, Eternities, on October 25th at the SummerOur Studio here in Atlanta. It was an incredible evening celebrating 2,000 lives changed since CARE for AIDS opened its doors. Thanks to all who made it such a wonderful time. We had great food, wonderful music with Christy Nockels, and best of all, the wonderful company of people who believe in the mission of CARE for AIDS and the work being done that $100,000 was raised to support the ministry. THANK YOU!
The REWRITTEN gala was just the beginning. The dream for CARE for AIDS began when Justin’s life was changed forever after meeting Cornel and Duncan on that first trip to Kenya in 2008. Still in college, Justin believed God could do incredible things through this dream, and we have been hard at work ever since. Two thousand families have been transformed, through care, compassion, and the love of Christ. Their lives have been REWRITTEN from DESPAIR to HOPE. Clients like Lucy, Joseph-Agnes, and theMwaura family feel valued and dignified and want to give back to others.
There are many more that are still waiting to hear and join the CARE for AIDS family. This is why we’re excited to continue REWRITING.
The REWRITTEN campaign starts today. We’re partnering with bloggers and social media users to share the mission to change lives, stories, and eternities. Together we can UNITE to REWRITE!
Help us start this next chapter for CARE for AIDS. We believe it’s possible to open a new center ($24,000) as we ring in the new year. Think about it: an opportunity this year for 80 more families’ lives to be changed forever!
Do you have a story to share? Do you know others who could help? Join us toREWRITE this next chapter.
